Rules and Regulations for The Chain O' Lakes Market.
The Chain O’ Lakes Market has established these rules and regulations, which are subject to change. Complaints or concerns regarding the Chain O’ Lakes Market should be addressed to the Market Manager. The management reserves the right to bring such complaints and concerns to the Chain O’ Lakes Market Operations Committee for discussion, investigation and resolution. If a vendor is warned three times about the same rule, they will be removed from the market.

All vendors must abide by, and all products must comply with, all applicable federal, state, county and local laws and regulations. All produce shall be sold by legal weights and measures. Vendors are responsible for having their scales certified for compliance. (See Wisc. State Food Code.)

The vendor is responsible for obtaining all licenses or permits required for the sale of the product to the public. Copies of such licenses/permits shall be submitted to the  Chain O’ Lakes Market annually prior to selling such items at the Market.  All vendors need to register for a temporary event operators permit with the state of WI.

Vendor permits are granted and vendor stalls are assigned upon receipt of a completed application, with fees paid and copies of licenses or permits, where necessary, on file with the The Chain O’ Lakes Market. The permit fee for renting a vendor stall(s) will be determined on an annual basis and published with the application for the vendor permit.

Dogs, pets or other live animals are NOT permitted on market premises.

Vendor stalls can be divided between a maximum of 2 vendors. Both vendors must apply and be approved by the Chain O’ Lakes Market. Vendors shall occupy only their assigned stalls with no more than 2 attendants operating the stalls.

Saturday vendors must be in their assigned stalls by 10 a.m. Failure to do so may result in the loss of their space that day.

Vendor-to-vendor harassment will not be tolerated.

Vendors are allowed to advertise for their own business, third party promotion and other solicitations are not allowed, unless approved by the market manager.

Conflicts with the vendor application and/or rules and regulations are subject to the forfeiture of a vendor permit and vendor fees.
